About Marianne

Hi! My name is Marianne,

In 2023 I started the webshop Zawadi ByMar to combine my passion for Africa, special gifts, travel and entrepreneurship.

This is how my unique company came about. And of course: always in a fair and sustainable way for people, animals & the environment!

In high school I was already setting up my own companies and undertaking projects, such as Marianne Photography. I studied English as a teacher with a minor in African Studies. I also followed and completed a United Netherlands honors program.

I also worked for 2 years in the office at Recrateam, a commercial company that provides animation programs at holiday parks.

I hope that my webshop is a reflection of beautiful craftsmanship from the continent of Africa! Crafts that I am very excited about and would like to share with you!
